Lazlo Papp in action. Papp (March 25, 1926 - October 16, 2003) was a Hungarian boxer born in Budapest. He won gold medals in the 1948, 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics. He beat Jose Torres to be the first boxer in Olympic History to win 3 consecutive gold medals. Papp finished his amateur career with record of 288-12. His professional record was 27-0 with 15 KOs.
