Note: Travis Peterkins's first draw was against Luis Arias who is 2008 US Future Starts Champion, 2009 Under-19 Champion and 3rd in the AIBA Youth World Championships last year. Willie Jones faced a tough Johnny Garcia in his first bout. Garcia advanced to the 2nd round of the 2008 National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions before losing to eventual champion, Dan O'Connor.

peterkin 1st draw may have been against luis arias but after the beating he gave arias i think he could have won the nationals had the decision gone his way, which it should have. people underestimate peterkin but if you dont come correct against him, he will give it to you raw without the vaseline. the usa nationals is next for him. cant wait to hear good things from him.
