16 year old De La Hoya vs. Robinson at the 1989 Golden Gloves Championship Bout in the 125lbs. division. De La Hoya finished his amateur career with a 223-20 (163 RSC) and won a Lightweight Gold Medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain
