From Baku, Azerbaijan the 54kg final between Guillermo Rigondeaux (Cuba) and Ali Aliyev (RUS) and Andry Laffita (Cuba). The 28 year old Rigondeaux won a gold medal in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, 2001 and 2005 World Championships, 2003 Pan-Am Championship. Rigondeaux is in the red corner.
