Some partial results from this weekend's USA Tournament. I don't have full results yet. On Friday, D'mitrius Ballard defeated Thomas Williams in the 165lbs. Men's Open division by RSC in a much anticipated bout between two of DC's best. Jerry Odom also won in the 178lbs. division. Alantez Fox defeated Jordan Jerome in the 152lbs. division.
On Saturday, there were only 3 Men's Open division bouts. Alantez Fox defeated David Grayton in the 152lbs. Men's Open division for his 2nd straight Washington DC USA title. Desmond Nicholson defeated Marquis Moore in the 165lbs. division and advances to face Ballard in the championsip. There was a super heavyweight bout, but I'm not sure of the results. I will post complete results on Sunday/Monday after the tournament.
Update: Additional DC area champions who will compete in the East Central USA Regionals (which will be held in the D/M/V area this year) are below. Also, 2009 East Central USA Champions Kevin Rivers (132lbs.) and Allen Russell (141lbs.) will be at-large spots as they were unable to compete. *Denotes also representing DC/MD/VA/NC at National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions.

It was a great tournament, would have love to seen A. Russell vs. M. Reed again would have been a great fight.
You still may see it as Russell is reportedly getting an at-large berth to the Nationals in the 141lbs. division. Stay tuned.
